While Saleem seems busy spending time with his friends, Akbar starts to have his meal with Navratn and others. Jodha, who is eager to bring Saleem and Akbar closer, urge Saleem to have his meal with his father and other important members of ther kingdom, but Saleem does not show any interest and instead decides to have his food with his friends. Akbar too lets his son do what makes him happy and does not force him. After his meal, Saleem goes on a ride with his friend Farhaan and after straying too deep into the open grounds, Saleem's horse suddenly loses control. While Saleem tries to handle his horse, Nadira - who is now refered to as Anarkali- falls into a puddle. Jodha realizes that her dear son Saleem still holds hatred towards her and Akbar and will by no means accompany them to Amer. Meanwhile, Rukaiyya begum finds out about Saleem's obsession for 'afeem' and she feels happy as she was the one who had inculcated the habit within the prince when he was just a child. Later, Saleem's younger sisters appear in front of him and express their disappointment as he was not joining them to Amer. Saleem finally gives in to his sisters requests and agrees to come to Amer. Later, Jodha who is completely disturbed about the ever growing differences between Saleem and Akbar, speaks to Birbal about it. Jodha asks Birbal for his help in bringing the father and son closer. Saleem somehow reaches Kedar's hut and his grandmother gets surprised to see Saleem there. Saleem tells her that he had escaped from the kidnappers and tells that he does not want to go back to the kingdom as his father had not come to save him. Meanwhile, Akbar and others seem extremely worried about Saleem as he was nowhere to be found. Just then, Kedar's grandmother enters along with Saleem and seeing him all get surprised. While all are celebrating the return of Saleem, the other kids of the kingdom find an alcoholic drink and force Saleem to consume it. Later, Saleem begins to walk the kingdom in his drunk state and just then Akbar comes in front of him. All the members of the royal family seem to be completely disturbed about Saleem's kidnapping and they all resort to prayers for help. Meanwahile, Akbar' navratn advice him about the seriousness of the condition and ask him to free Khwaja Mouin in order to get Saleem back. Akbar comes out with a plan to disguise himself as Khwaja Mouin and go to the kidnappers. Meanwhile, Jodha Begum goes against Akbar's orders and frees Khwaja Mouin from the prison. Later, the messengers spread the news that Akbar will be freeing Khwaja Mouin and some of the kidnappers too get the news. Meanwhile, Saleem manages to escape from the kidnappers and runs away and when the kidnappers find this out they begin to panic. Later, Akbar reaches the kidnappers disguised as Khwaja Mouin and Maan Singh demands the kidnappers to produce Saleem in front of them. Watch the entire episode here to know more.

 Raheem reads out the entire message and Akbar immediately goes to meet Khwaja Moin at the prison and tries to enquire with him about the kidnapper. But Akbar does not get any satisfying answer and he warns Khwaja Moin. Akbar later is in a dilemma whether to release Khwaja Moin in return for his son. Jodha gets furious with Akbar for not taking any action immediately and rescuing her son. Akbar who does not want to release Khwaja Moin gets angry with Jodha for reacting without thinking. Jodha goes on to plead with Akbar to release Khwaja Moin and get Saleem Back. Later, Jodha discusses the matter with Ammijaan and other women of the kingdom. Later, Akbar leaves the kingdom in search of his son along with Thodarmal, Maan Singh and others. Meanwhile, Saleem seems to be having a difficult time with his kidnappers.
