Vishwas Rao and Dev Pratap make up a story and lie to Meethi maa and others that Mahesh has killed his wife Prabha while she was trying to reveal his truth to all and has fled the town. Vishwas Rao's younger brother, Surya hears this and he and his wife get worried thinking about Darpan who is by herself. Meanwhile, Darpan reaches the police station to file a complaint about her parents going missing but the police seem to be of very little help for Darpan who is extremely worried. She has no idea about the whereabouts of her brother Ganesh aswell. Ganesh on the other hand completes all the last rituals of Prabha by himself without letting anyone know about it.
