Nadira reveals everything that had happened earlier before Akbar and others, Narida says that Saleem is responsible for the death of the little kid. Everybody assembled there are shocked hearing this and Akbar asks Saleem to tell the truth. Saleem confesses that he had shot an arrow at the kid unknowingly. He later goes to his mother and begins to cry as he is afraid of the judgement that Akbar will be passing against him. Akbar later disguises as a commoner and feels hurt when he understands the plight of the little kid's family. Nadira's mother on the other hand is furious with her daughter for bringing Saleem's name out in the open. Akbar is in a dilemma as he has to chose between his son and the people of the kingdom.
