Rukaiyya Begum is not happy with Akbar forgiving Rashid and on the other hand Rashid is facing the wrath of the public for his mistake that he had made. The people begin to beat Rashid but just then Jodha reaches the scene and saves him. She explains to the people that Rashid had made a mistake earlier and has also been forgiven by the king himself. Rashid and his wife finally decide to leave Agra for their own well being. Later, Shaguni Bai predicts Saleem's future before Jodha and reveal to her that Saleem will have two phases in his life and the second phase will be caused by a person who is not yet born. Meanwhile not far away a new baby is born to a family after a lot of trouble and is named Mehrunissa. Going through a lot of poverty, the couple decides to abandon their new born baby girl who finally ends up coming back to the couple.
