Dev Pratap walks towards Kajri who has her face covered with a 'dupatta' and he begins to threaten her by saying what he will be doing to her to teach her a lesson, but Dev gets a shock when Kajri pounces upon him with a dagger in her hand. Meanwhile, Darpan is still in the dark room and is afraid and is lost in the thoughts of her family and her brother Ganesh. Next morning, Kajri starts searching for Darpan and realizes that she has been locked in the dark room. Just then Dev Pratap comes in front of her with they key and tries to misbehave with her. Kajri goes on to strike Dev with the dagger and manages to unlock the door and free Darpan. Later, it is time for Kajri's 'muh dikhai' (a ritual after marriages in India) and Meethi Maa and Vansa Bai are in for a shock when they see Darpan out of the room along with Kajri.
