"Day 40, 8:00 am, the alarm starts to ring in the Bigg Boss house and all the inmates start to dance in gay abandon. Upen has made some assistant captains to help him in the house hold chores and Gautam is the in charge for the garden area. Gautam distributes the work for the garden area and Praneet takes exception to the amount of work given to him. Gautam goes inside and discusses the way Praneet has taken an exception to the amount of work given to him with Puneet. Later, Gautam and Praneet both get in to an argument over the cleaning of the garden and Praneet walks away in a huff. In the afternoon, a letter from Bigg Boss is read out and it says that today is the third day of judgement and Upen will have to decide, who will be punished and who will be rewarded. Bigg Boss later declares that Gautam will be put in a cage and will have a helper, and can speak to others only through the helper. Gautam appoints Puneet as his helper and gets locked in the cage.
