Saleem somehow reaches Kedar's hut and his grandmother gets surprised to see Saleem there. Saleem tells her that he had escaped from the kidnappers and tells that he does not want to go back to the kingdom as his father had not come to save him. Meanwhile, Akbar and others seem extremely worried about Saleem as he was nowhere to be found. Just then, Kedar's grandmother enters along with Saleem and seeing him all get surprised. While all are celebrating the return of Saleem, the other kids of the kingdom find an alcoholic drink and force Saleem to consume it. Later, Saleem begins to walk the kingdom in his drunk state and just then Akbar comes in front of him.
